Michael O’neill, President

Michael is a partner with the law firm of Sims|Funk, PLC in Nashville. He has been a litigation attorney for almost 30 years, representing clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 100 companies. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with honors from Rutgers University and his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law. He lives in Nashville with his wife and enjoys spending time with their adult children.

Kristopher Miller, treasurer

Kris is a Nashville native that has served on the board of Matthew 25 for the last ten years. A graduate of Young Leaders Council, Kris brings his financial and tax leadership, along with a passion for serving the homeless and his community, to our organization.

hal Sauer, Board Member

Hal is a retired CPA who served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for five years. After moving to Nashville over 25 years ago, he has worked for Shared Medical Systems, taught at Donelson Middle School, and has been the Officer of Elections for the Election Commission for the past 18 years. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Dick Fleming, Board member

Spending four decades as an office building specialist, Dick has represented landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers in over 15 million square feet of real estate transactions. He negotiated the purchase of the land for the current AT&T “Batman” building. Most recently, Dick completed the leasing of The Pinnacle at Symphony Place with 92% occupancy and coordinated the sale of the property to Highwoods. Dick serves as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church and is an Army veteran.

Lisa woodruff, Vice president

Lisa is a Vice President with Turner & Townsend, where she oversees their Central USA business and their Retail sector globally. Lisa is a University of Illinois graduate and a licensed Architect. She is married to her husband of 24 years, Mark, and has two children, Quentin (20), Walter (18). Lisa is passionate about helping young children and serving her communities. She is Turner & Townsend’s Corporate Responsibility Lead for the US business and serves on the YMCA of Middle Tennessee Property Committee and ACE National and Nashville Advisory Councils.

Steve Castle, Secretary

Steve is a native Nashvillian. He graduated from David Lipscomb University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and has served as Senior Vice President at Dennison Tombras for over 15 years. Steve is married to Emily Castle and has two children, Caleb (17) & Brooke (14). Steve is a Deacon at the Hendersonville Church of Christ.

Chad jones, board member

Chad is a Chicago native who relocated to Nashville in 2001. He is an Auburn graduate and a licensed Architect in the State of Tennessee. He has served as Associate Principal at STG Design and has been with the firm for over 15 years. Chad is married to Elvira Jones and has three children, Javari (23), Jada (18) & Juliana (14). He is an ordained Deacon at Born Again Church and participates in the Men’s and Marriage Ministry committees.

Jack stringham, Board member

Jack serves as a commercial attorney (Bone, McAllester, Norton PLLC) for businesses and financial institutions and has represented the Frist Art Museum since its inception. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church as well as the Boy Scouts. Jack is also a veteran of the United States Army
